The Department of Environment and Local Government under Local Governance and Local Government Reform (LGLGR) underwent a Local Governance Reform (LGR) process that restructured the local governance structure in New Brunswick from a combined 340 local governments and local service districts to 89 local governance entities consisting of 62 newly restructured local government entities; 15 non-restructured local government entities and 12 rural districts.  In addition to the creation of newly restructured local governments, there were adjustments to some regional service commission boundaries.  The new boundaries were delineated based on the following GIS Layers:<\/SPAN><\/SPAN><\/P>
